Structure of 2/5 liter rotovap

The following is the method of using the 2/5 liter rotovap and the attention: a small amount of alumite should be added to the installation interface part to avoid the leakage of the interface part and the vacuum degree cannot be increased when vacuuming. Vacuum siliceous oil is required.
Ordinary alumshilin is easy to stick and cannot be disassembled when the vacuum pressure is high! The liquid level in the bottle should be lower than the liquid level heated by the water bath to avoid damage to the bottom shaft! Adjust the angles of the eggplant-shaped bottle, the water bath, and the port of the rotary steamer, and then load the sample into the eggplant-shaped bottle to prevent sample loss and damage to the port of the rotary steamer when the instrument is installed.
After the eggplant-shaped bottle containing the sample is successfully connected to the port of the rotary steamer, the 2/5 liter rotovap button should be activated to check whether the rotation is flexible, and more importantly, whether all or most of the rotary steamed sample is submerged in the liquid surface of the water bath.
Only in this way can the efficiency of rotary steaming be guaranteed. Generally, the sample contained in the eggplant-shaped bottle should not exceed 50%, and the maximum should not exceed 75%, otherwise suction will occur during decompression.
Next, install the container containing the distillate, pay attention to use some alumite when connecting, ensure a good airtight, pass the cooling water, close the vent valve, open the decompression device, and perform the decompression distillation.
